The Perfect Paint Palette

This week I'm thinking a lot about paint - we're at that stage with the development project where the final touches are now being planned (four weeks to completion all being well!) and then the builders will be coming to our home to work on the loft extension, after which we will finally be able to redecorate the rest of the house. When it comes to paint I like to stick with what I know - I'm a huge fan of the classic pastel Farrow & Ball colours but occasionally throw in the odd tone from Little Greene, so when I saw these pictures they really brought a smile to my face.

A lady with very similar taste to me is Hannah Gooch, who runs the gorgeous Ebury Home & Garden. These stunning pictures are of her freshly re-painted home and I think you'll all agree her colour choices are perfect!  In the living room she's used Hardwick White from F&B, hallway is Strong White, All White and Hardwick White F&B, kitchen and dining room have Cornforth White on walls and Pavilion Grey on cupboards, again from Farrow & Ball, the main bedroom has a wallpaper from Farrow & Ball with their White Tie paint on the walls, bathroom is Skimming Stone on the walls and Strong White on the floor and finally their son Oliver's room has been painted in French Gray from Little Green. A lot of these are my favourite colours too and seeing Hannah's finished home has really made me excited about choosing our perfect paint palette.

I hope it has inspired you too!
