Pretty Pastels

I was so excited when I recently stumbled across the super talented designer Jess Laver's website on a recent internet inspiration trawl! A girl after my own heart, she is a fan of soft colours and creates effortless, elegant spaces and with a natural feeling of calm. I want to move straight into this house and can already imagine myself curled up on that gorgeous soft bed with a good book! If you are looking for create calm and a real sanctuary in your home, then pastels are the way to do it. As always if you keep the background neutral you can always add splashes of colour to reflect your mood or the seasons.

Apologies for the recent period of calm on the blog - I've been on holiday for a few weeks, but blogging will resume as normal from next week!
