Real Homes: Award Winning Renovation

This beautiful cottage was last years winner in the Period Living Awards and from these stunning pictures it's easy to see why.

The house has been lovingly restored adding elements of the new, with a lot of original features and the overall effect is a delight to anyone who loves the idea of shabby chic or cottage living.

The couple who owned it bought is as a dark and desolate wreck and went on to lovingly restore it on a limited budget, learning new skills including carpentry, plumbing and decorative arts.
