May Moments

With June getting off to such a miserable and wet start, this feels like the perfect time to be sharing my sunny May moments! Isn't it always the way that Spring is pretty lovely, May is glorious, so we all start to feel confident about a wonderful summer and then June brings rain, lots of it!

I guess it shouldn't be a huge surprise - I can count on one hand the number of years we've had with lovely sunshine for Wimbledon and Glastonbury, but it does still seem unfair. June is the official start of summer so the sun should be out!

Enough of my ranting, May on the other hand was a glorious month - filled with flowers and sunshine. Particularly for us as we started the month in Menorca searching for a new renovation project. It was our first visit to the island together and it really didn't disappoint. More will be coming soon on the blog as I will be sharing all the details of our trip as well as two of the gorgeous hotels that we stayed in.

May is also the month of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show - it's one of my favourite annual events and even though we didn't go this year, I loved catching up on the TV updates each evening and just the general loveliness of Chelsea in Bloom at this time of year.

I hope you all had a lovely May too - I'm excited about the rest of June, P and I are heading back to Menorca in a few week’s time to try and make some progress with the house we fell in love with (I did share it on stories, but for those who missed it keep an eye on my Instagram later this month!)
