Horseshoe Cottage Farm

In early March Patrick & I were invited to visit one of the UK’s most award winning Bed & Breakfasts, which is also a member of the Wolsey Lodge group. For those of you not familiar with Wolsey Lodges {we weren’t until this trip}, it's a group of luxury bed & breakfasts each selected for uniqueness and charm, where the owners welcome their guests with open arms and often provide supper, dinner party style...they are the true homes away from home!

We headed up to Cropston in Leicestershire for what was supposed to be a Spring break, but do to the weather refusing to play ball, we instead experienced one of the cosiest winter breaks imaginable. Horseshoe Cottage Farm was as charming as its owners, Tim & Linda Jee. Once through the door the only thing that we managed to do until we left two nights later was relax!

Cosy fires, hearty food and incredibly comfortable beds, combined with very generous hosts made our stay utterly perfect. In terms of design, Linda is a big fan of SandersonZoffany and Osborne & Little fabric - you can see how beautifully she has styled her home is in the pictures below. We loved our time there and will be looking to the Wolsey Lodge collection on future trips around the UK or in France and definitely plan to visit Horseshoe Cottage Farm again one day soon.
