Homes Away From Home: V for Vejer

I’m so excited to share with you this weeks' Home Away From Home. The beautifully designed Hotel V in the town of Vejer in Andalucia is a 17th-century townhouse that has been made-over in a sympathetic, eclectic style that I just love. Many original features remain from arches and beams to banisters and brickwork, but the state of the art finish to the bedrooms and bathrooms is both modern and stylish. I love the antique items of furniture nestled happily alongside funky photography and astroturf, which has been creatively laid in the courtyard. A really eclectic mix!

Highlights include the stunning plunge pool and roof terrace with views across the town all the way to Morocco; it’s the perfect base from which to explore this fascinating part of Spain.
