Homes Away from Home: Babington House in Somerset

This week's home away from home is in my view the original one; the inspiration for other hotels across the country start recreating the feel of being in a lovely home (where you don't have to do the washing up and the cleaning!),  instead of the traditional and slightly stuffy hotel environment that we were accustomed to in the past. P and I were lucky enough to visit Babington House in Somerset last week after having it on our wish list of places to visit to a number of years and are pleased to say that it didn't disappoint. 

The house and setting are both stunning, the atmosphere is the perfect blend of relaxed yet decadent, the rooms out of this world and the bathrooms...all I can say it that I was in heaven...Cowshed product heaven! I would recommend it to anyone looking to treat themselves to a night away; a night of pure relaxation and indulgence. Everything from the spa, sauna, cinema, restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor pool (complete with people lounging with cocktails in the sun thanks to the recent good weather spell!), were perfect and we can't wait to visit again.
