Easter Weekend in the Sunshine

For the Easter weekend we popped across to my parents house in Mallorca for some last minute sun and to help celebrate our friend Sarah's birthday. We arrived late Saturday night and awoke Sunday morning to a gorgeous day - warm enough to where a T-shirt and jeans rather than the five layers we've become used to in England recently!

One of the things I miss the most about life in Mallorca is the amazing array of fresh fruit and vegeatables available at the lovely Sunday market, so in the morning we had a good long potter around soaking up the atmosphere and sipping coffee in the sunny square.

We then headed to lunch at the best restaurant ever, Trencadora - homemade pasta and pizza washed down with rose wine from C'an Vidalet, our favourite local vineyard.

On Monday we relaxed at home all day avoiding the occasional rain shower - P gave me a masterclass on how to use my new camera and then we enjoyed an afternoon by the sea sipping cold Albariño, followed by a birthday party for Sarah at a friend's house - our first BBQ of the year, lots of laughter, hoola hooping and a big birthday cake!

What did you get up to? I hope you had as much fun as we did!
