Building & Renovation: Farewell to our Finca

I am so sorry for my absence over the last week or so - I have been travelling for work (Madrid, Ibiza & London) and when I have been on the island, I've have mostly been packing! Our first finca (traditional farmhouse) has been sold and hours of my time over the last few weeks has been spent sorting and packing up all the contents.  I finished yesterday and although relieved, was sad to say goodbye to the house that was one of the first projects Venards worked on. Originally on the site was an old barn that needed a total rebuild and we worked hard to keep as many original features as possible throughout; beams, sandstone arches and even a hay manger that houses the TV!  The new owners simply adore the house, which makes all the hard work worthwhile; I hope they will be very happy there.


Now that the packing is done I'm hoping that I can get back to blogging as normal...
